"Our family had a great stay. The home is clean, cared for and comfortable. Great proximity to Sugarloaf. We would book again. Prep communication ahead of time. Not a fault of the owners, just a result of the service in the Sugarloaf area. We enjoyed going off the grid for a few days! Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!"

"The property was clean and accurately represented in the listing. The water in the pond was very clean and pleasant for swimming. Lots of space for 6 people, well stocked with towels etc. and some very nice kayaks with paddles in good shape. The pond and neighborhood are very quiet. Fireflies all over & very dark skies for stargazing. I would say that the only two things I would have liked to have known in advance are 1) the internet is quite slow, zero cell svc, we did manage to stream Netflix...

"The place was dirty. Went to the basement to check out the laundry room and found standing water because the sub pump was broken, 3 full piles of bedding in and on the washer and dryer. This led me to believe the sheets on the bed had not been washed. The stove top was dirty, dishes in the dishwasher, dirt in between the cushions of the couch. "My brother and I were traveling for our Uncle's funeral. We were thrilled to find the Perkins House was available. The house reminded us of our grandparents house in Harrison, ME. It brought us back in time to days of our childhood. I definitely want to return with my family to enjoy the Lakewood Theatre and the lake."
