"Checking in was easy both at the gate for parking pass and at the lobby for check in. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend 4 wheel drive if visiting after snow or ice storm. We made it up the first night but slid several times due to ice (the sign at the bottom did say use 4WD). The shuttle service from parking lot to the building is a SUV worked fine for pickups and drop offs, we never had to wait more than 2 to 3 minutes. "Pros- very responsive host! - great view of the mountains and slopes - relatively close to alot of stuff Cons- not clear at all how to get to the actual unit. They gave an address to a building on the opposite side of the property, there are 11 buildings so they need to be more clear on instructions on exactly what building to go to and what floor. -No pool/spa access- you have to scan a badge to get into the pool/hottub area and there was no access key left in the room, which the heated pool...

"This was a bright, clean, very comfortable stay right in downtown Blowing Rock in easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Very beautifully decorated with lots of natural light! We enjoyed it so much and would definitely recommend to friends!"

"We trac extensively and have stayed in many short term rentals. This cabin exceeded all expectations, from the well appointed full kitchen and nice cooking tools and utensils, to the almost daily deer feeding, to the luxurious bath robes and sauna. These owners were so kind and helpful, and we would recommend to anyone. Easy drive to slopes and Beech restaurants. The interior of this place was thoughtfully and carefully designed and is more cozy than the pictures can express. You will love it! "
