"Affordable and cheerful, simple but nice, a convenient option for fast travellers who just need a bed to rest and keep going. A bit annoying that I booked an individual room (instead of a shared one) and had to still share toilet and shower separately.. it was not clear at the time of booking. Was not stated in the Expedia booking either, so had to put up with that. So if you're booking here mind that can be your case too.. on the other hand really well placed right outside Anvers tube and 8...

"I enjoyed my stay. The place is convient close to all publoc transport. Restaurant and eatery all 3 min walk. Plenty of food options . Staff are very polite/ courteous and there were needed, especially the morrocan security guard i forgot to ask for his name, very helpful. The only thing i could ask them to fix is the toilet seat and drinking water fountains broken"

"Wonderful atea safe and very good to eat cheaply. Hostel is very basic but clean and accurate. Close to metro. Easy walk to guard de Nord. We were there for Olympics do extremely handy for stade fe France. We paid well over it's worth but it was the Olympics."

"Booked from 25 April to 2nd May but did stay. The location was very unclean, with heavy unpleasant smell, highly over crowded, had to leave location immediately due to feeling unsafe and inappropriate touching by an occupant. Currently trying to get a refund via PayPal. "

"There were literally massive bugs crawling all over the bed in the room. The room was very messy and dirty and not ready to receive anyone. We had arrived exhausted and were even ready to tolerate the mess and spent an hour trying to kill the bugs the huge bugs and beetles that were attacking my young daughter. We were going to wait until morning to get our place changed. But as it got worse and worse after three hours, we finally had to have an emergency move to another place at 2:30AM....

"We were transferred to the Avalon hotel in Paris. I asked to have my sheets changed four days in a row they didn’t get around to it until the fifth day. The room is very small much smaller than I anticipated. The location was ideal close to public transportation restaurants easy to get around."
