"I don't want to say how lovely it was at this gite as I want to be able to book again when we're next in the area! Very friendly owners, around to help if needed otherwise they leave you alone. Huge flat gardens with lovely flowers/trees and shrubs. Plenty of garden furniture and places to sit and eat out, sunbathe or chill in the shade. "Loved the warm welcome and generous basket from Barry when we arrived. Great accommodation. Amazing pool and gardens. Barry always there to help with any issues and even brought us extra logs for the fire on a cold evening. Great bike path along old raikway track into town (we walked it). Great galette place in town for food. Market on Friday morning. Ideal for easy drive to Fougeres, Mont Saint Michelle, Cancale. Really relaxing, lovely stay. Would recommend."

"Fabulous overnight stay. Fabrice was lovely and very helpful. House of Poppies was great. Clean and equipped with everything we needed. A nice bottle of red wine watching the sunset from the terrace was the perfect antidote to a long drive. Gardens were lovely for our dog to explore. Fab homemade breakfast. Thanks for a great stay! "This rather isolated house was a bit hard to find at first, but it is very well situated with both privacy and sweeping views in mind. We were a bit far from the crowds celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Normandy invasion, but the drive up to the coast was only marred by the huge crowds and all of the dignitaries present for the occasion.
