The communication with the owner was excellent from the time of the booking to the understanding and the support when I had to cancel at the last minute. "What a wonderful place! We are a family of four and were worried that our two boys would run out of things to do but they loved it! The garden is big enough to explore, play football, badminton and get lost in. The swing and outdoor shower were an added bonus. The house is perfectly located 1hr from Caen, 20 minutes from Vire and an easy drive to the D day beaches. "Probably my fault but I didn't realize deposit had to be in cash. So had to scramble to find ATM to get $300. Then checking out they doubled the cleaning fee on us. They didn't provide toilet paper or dish soap and had to go to the store to buy some. Would have been nice to know there was no toilet paper before going to the bathroom."
