"A very nice cabin on black lake, amazing fishing. A canoe and paddle boat were provided as well as multiple outdoor games. A great place for family camping. I would also recommend a place called Cedar Grove Camp rentals for a pontoon or fishing boat rental if needed."

"Brett was away, but Alice did a fantastic job as his replacement. She made sure that we had a wonderful time and answered all of our questions and provided us with everything that we needed. This was our 4th year in a row staying with Brett/Alice and we will be back next year!"

"Screened in porch takes you to the river edge and watching the big ships on the St. Lawrence was a new experience. (There's even an app to track them.) Open floor plan with lots of room. Country cozy with the comforts of home. Hope to return and stay longer next time. Charming host!"

"We did not stay long as it was just a brief overnight trip, but the cabin was fantastic and comfortable. It felt very cozy but still spacious for the three of us and we were given a clear line of communication for any questions. Checking in and out was super easy!"

"The house had everything we needed, downstairs very open. The stairs were steep and narrow, wasn't an issue for us but maybe for others. Took a minute to figure out the light switches. They had a few toys for our baby -9 mos- to play with, was nice. The neighbourhood was not what we expected, but had no issues. There was a previous comment about it looking "hood" I wouldn't say Hood just older houses on a river, that are their homes not vacationed lodging. Overall it was nice, clean, and quiet. I recommend Phillips diner, Buster's restaurant, and The Gran view."
