"I liked the friendly and helpful staff, nice furnishings in the apartments and adequately stocked with all the necessities for such accommodation! The bed was comfortable with very nice bed linen! Like the proximity to Sandton City and Mandela Sq! All in all I thought the Raphael was very good value for money! I did not like the view from my room.. faced the wall (but at least it wasn’t concrete and plain, but would have preferred a city view! "

We were 2 couples that paid a week in advance through Hotels.com, confirmation was emailed and I phoned 3 times to confirm because we were going to arrive a bit earlier because we have a wedding close by. When we arrived they did not want to give us our room keys because they said they did not receive payment. We spoke to the 2 girls working there, which was very unproffesional eating chips and handling our phones without any sanitation etc, we showed them proof of payment,...

"The place looked good from the outside but, inside it needed a lot of TLC . The electric infrastructure in the bedroom was from one multi plug. TV , Fridge Air Conditioner, kettle and any other personal equipment. Such as computer and cell phone Charging all from one unit. (Totally unsafe). The other plug socket did not work. Plumbing also was a disgrace. The toilet didn’t work properly and the tap on the Hand basin was loose. No more than one star accommodation. We shall never be going...

"The property is beautiful and clean. I had I huge problem because I didn’t have a local sim, and without calling the staff you can’t enter their property as the intercom doesn’t work and once the staff let you in, they are nowhere to be found unless you call them on phone again. No Wi-Fi as well "
