The bathroom door did not lock and there property was generally in a poor state of repair. Marks on every wall and paint peeling from the window sills. "We had a wonderful 5-night stay at the cottage over New Year. It is small and cosy and set in a small village overlooking fields and hills. The sunrise in the morning is beautiful. The kitchen has everything you could need to cook meals and there is a large Sainsbury's about 10 minutes drive away to stock up on provisions. The Herdwick Inn is a great local pub about 10 minutes walk away (take a torch if dark!) and 5 minutes drive away is a llama cafe and farm shop, Basecamp. The main hiking...

"Old apartment block but internal of the unit was alright. Good location, close to Sainsbury’s and a few restaurants, some better ones need to book in advance though. There were towels and games and WiFi was steady. However, kettle was black inside, no toilet rolls, some plastic cups with white marks and management company was closed after keys picking.
