"Javier graciously allowed us to check in at 10:00am, which was so nice after flying overnight from the States. He met us at the door and gave us a thorough review of the stylishly decorated apartment. The unit is in a building built in the 1850, but the apartment has been elegantly updated. Javier reached out to us everyday to ensure that all of our needs were being met. We made a new friend and will attend the Opera with him when we return to Madrid. I recommend this property highly. "Madrid is a very big city! Lots of people and I kind of compare it to New York City. But with more history. The apartment is in a perfect location in the old town and it was easy to get to the places that we wanted to see. The check in process was easy as we met the owner and he helped us carry some of our luggage up the steps. "This apartment is perfect! Great location -- amazingly quiet at night -- comfy bed, terrific kitchen, high-end appliances, thick towels and fancy shower, lots of storage. Not a huge apartment, but the marvelous use of space makes it seem much larger. Smart TV. Strong WIFI. Groceries, bars, restaurants all around. Lovely walks to all the sights. Highly recommend this apartment!!!"

"Seven of our family members stayed 8 nights. The location was perfect for a quick walk to grocery store, bakery (every day!) and a variety of restaurants. We walked to the Royal Palace, Cathedral, Grand Via, Plaza Mayor and the World’s Oldest Restaurant Sobrino de Botin (Guinness World Records). A 20 minute Uber ride took us to the train for a 40 minute ride to a day in Toledo. We all were very happy to return to “our apartment” to rest for dinner and evening strolls. "As other reviews have stated, the hotel is currently under construction so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was really surprised! The construction seemed to have been going on for awhile so everything looked very new and modern. The rooms smelled recently renovated and were very large and comfortable. There was amazing shower pressure and they left us chocolates everyday. The only issue I had, which honestly I barely noticed, was that the flights would flicker on and off every so often but never permanently. I assume it is because of ongoing construction. Staff was kind and the breakfast buffet was good and had a lot of options. The location is a little further from all the main sights. It took us about 20-25 minutes to get there from the train station. The royal palace was about 10 minutes away walking. The subway station is right across the street. Huge mall on the other side of the hotel. There was almost always a taxi waiting outside also so transportation was not an issue. Great comfortable stay. "
