"Loved it, conveniently located (minutes to town and walking distance to bear mountain) we walked to ski lessons. Kids had a blast riding their sled in the driveway! Heat works well, water takes a few minutes to heat but lasts a long time. Washer/dryer combo to dry wet clothes after playing in the snow! Great little cabin! Hope to plan another trip before too long! "

"First of all, the location for this house doesn’t get any better. Floor to ceiling window with glass doors opening up to a deck overlooking the slopes with a lake view. This is the thing that made it worthwhile being in the house. My biggest issue with this house was the cleanliness and how run down things were. Seems like updating around this property hasn’t been done because they can get away with renting it based on its location. For example, the swing on the deck had a board missing with nails sticking out. There was trash thrown about all around the property. There was a broken lamp just shoved into the closet. Basically all the carpets were so gross and old that I made sure all our teenagers kept their slippers on inside the house. The bed covers/pillow slips, and the one extra blanket inside the closet looked unwashed. There was a lot of dust behind the beds, along windowsills & on shelves where it looked like the cleaning crew took shortcuts. There was hair in the master bath drain and open and unopened candy behind some of the beds. We found glass embedded in the carpet in one of the bedrooms. It just seems the cleaning crew here doesn’t take its time and the management company is not keeping them accountable. The water pressure is also pretty poor so only one person could shower at a time if you want decent water pressure. Deep cleanings and updating needed ASAP. "

"It’s very cool that one room is above the garage, which is great for some privacy for a couple. Great pool room that’s fun for socializing. Awesome that there’s lots of places for a large group. It was just a little stressful that the listing said max occupancy 10 but once we got there, they said 8. Also, the listing had said 4 car occupancy but once we got there, they said 3. We were still able to have 4, but it was a bit stressful. Finally, the last discrepancy between the listing and real life was that online it had said that we could just put our trash in the bins behind the cabin. Once we got there we were told to take all of our trash to the trash location, as Big Bear has no trash service. It would have been better to just have the deal information up front instead of get news once we got there. "

"Everything was absolutely perfect. We are a family of four and our dog and it was very cozy and welcoming. The location was perfect and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need. Communication for check in was great as well. "
