"This is our second stay at this property. We stayed March 2024 and 2025. The property was as advertised. It's a great price per night for a great location. Yes, the home could use some TLC, but for these older homes, pre 1900 build, that bit of TLC could be really expensive. The owner is very responsive and could be reached through the app easily. The home was clean and suited our needs perfectly while we visited with our daughter who live in Houston."

"Clean, cute, close to what we needed and comfortable. Only given 1 lockbox code and needed two which delayed us getting in a bit but luckily, we had relatives about 5 minutes away where we could wait for the second code. Would rent again. "

"The house was very comfortable, quiet and spacious. We really loved it - all the basic supplies were there ready for us. Beds and furniture were very comfortable. Nice neighbors helped us with a car problem too!! the driveway did not have room for two cars - unless they were small. We had to car shuffle and park around the corner down the street. The living room could use a love seat so 6 people could watch a movie comfortably."

"Clean, modern, gated, safe, great style, in the heart of the arts and museum district. Dark Columbia coffee and 4 cup coffee maker are great. Towels and linens great. Plumbing, water pressure, hot water all great. Comply Queen bed with 4 pillows of varying firmness great. Art works are very tasteful. Loved it. I’ll be back. "

"Our experience at this property was unfortunately overshadowed by poor communication and lack of accountability from the host, Renee. I initially reached out to request an early check-in but didn’t receive a response for over five hours, finally hearing back around 12:30 PM—just two and a half hours before the scheduled check-in time of 3 PM. At that time, Renee informed us that the cleaning person had an emergency and she had to find a replacement, but assured us someone was on their way. When I followed up at 2:30 PM for a status update, she never responded. Instead, we were left waiting until 5 PM—two hours past our promised check-in time—without any updates. I had to contact VRBO customer service twice just to get any information and to gain access to the property. While she did offer a late check-out of 1 PM, it didn’t make up for the delay, especially given that our stay was further disrupted by the fact that there was no hot water on the property. When we reached out to Renee about this issue, she showed little concern and never once apologized for the inconvenience. The property itself may have been fine, but the lack of communication, unfulfilled promises, and disregard for guest experience made for an incredibly frustrating stay. I can not recommend this rental based on our experience with the host."
