"The hotel room was ok. We had a kitchen area but the pots were not cleaned. We didn't use them, so there no issue, but it is an example of the housekeeping standards. Overall though nice hotel and would stay again."

"Staff were friendly. Hotel is on the old side but clean and comfortable enough. Walls are very thin and lots of noise was heard from other rooms and the corridor until late, then again early in the morning. Pool was lovely and warm but no privacy in changing area. Food in the restaurant was very tasty and service was ok considering how busy it was. Didn't realise we would have to pay for parking but it wasn't too pricey. "

"The parking can be inconvenient at times as there is limited parking avaible at the front and back. If these are full, it’s difficult to find somewhere to park. "

"Just a weekend away in February. Pretty dreich outside and bitterly cold, so it was a time to hunker down but our room provided space for board games and a TV. Bar was good. Swimming pool was also very good. We visited Dundee and St Andrews. I can imagine this would be beautiful in good weather but it was a lovely retreat. "
