"Very nice place! Great little room with a small kitchen and real fridge and stove. Very clean. I would have eaten off the floor. Comfortable bed. Check in and out was just as easy as a hotel stay, but the room felt comfortable and homey. The whole town is within walking distance from here. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm working in Telluride. "

"We didn't spend too much time here as we were out exploring the surrounding areas. Property was easy to find with directions provided, it was clean & well kept. It was fun to wake up to see cattle around. Overall we enjoyed our time and would gladly stay here again."

"My husband and I stayed in one of the subdivided rooms…huge condo where one large bedroom suite/bathroom had its own private entrance with microwave and small fridge. It was larger than I envisioned, clean with great mattress and pillows. No issues with noise, but like any stay it can depend on who your neighbors are…very great positive experience at a fair price for Telluride lodging up in Mountain Village. Great value…pool, two spas and exercise room. Would stay again…staff awesome!"

"My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights during our ice climbing trip. It was the perfect location less than 10 minutes from Ouray but still secluded enough to feel like a getaway. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing stay — nice views, a fireplace, cooking appliances, comfy beds. "My husband and I stayed for a week for our anniversary. We had an amazing time. It was exactly as described in the listing.We could not have been happier with our stay. Property was very clean, warm and welcoming. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen well stocked. Randall was great at checking in, and always available if needed. There was so much to do there. We felled so welcomed. We will definitely be back. "

"The Bear Creek Lodge is a beautiful property in the quiet part of Mountain Village of Telluride. Very clean and quiet, with all the amenities. A quick walk to the gondola gets you to the main part of Mountain Village, then you can hop on another gondola to get down in to town. So whether you want to stay up on the mountain or enjoy the town, it's very easy to do."

"This room had a king bed and a bunkbed. It was adequate for sleeping. We were out most of the day hiking which was amazing and really only used it for sleeping and cleaning up during the day. The rest of the facility was beautiful and it was close to the gondola which could take us up and over into Telluride. Staff at the front desk were amazing, especially Ignacio."

"We had a great stay! Clean nice amenities location. I wish I had a better sleep though mattress it’s old needs to be upgraded."

"Long day of hiking and arrive at our room at 9:00 PM to find we had no hot water and no communication from staff. Met several others staying at the hotel who told us there was an issue. Waited 1/2 hours at front desk to hear that there was no planned solution until next day. Woke up to no hot water. Made for a very unpleasant day."

"I wish I had not stayed here. It is a very old and depressing building to be in. very louc with hot tub so close to the windows. I got bit by a spider in Room 114 during night #3 and had to go to urgent care when I got back to Denver the same day. Room appeared to be clean but you never know. There are no good amenities. Just good location but not a nice place to stay. Never again!"

"The room was super small. The bed was smaller and did not look like the picture. The furniture was old, packed down, hard and one of the chairs falling apart. The kuerig machine did not work after I had bought pods and all of the things I needed for coffee. Front desk tried to find another one and said this unit has Keurig because it was managed directly by the owners. I tried the coffee maker next and it also didn't work. "Clean, comfy, perfect location for everything you want to do in mountain village or telluride. Check in was a little odd since the door was stuck and all lights and tv was on which they said was normal but I have travelled a lot and made me feel a little uneasy. But overall is as advertised."

"I left my wedding ring and didn’t realize it until a few hours after the fact. Words can’t express my relief upon calling that they had my ring in a safe place waiting for me to pick it up. Huge shoutout to Brooke and We do for their honesty and good natured attitudes upon picking it up. The honest staff gives this place a five star review despite the current construction. Thank you Holiday Inn Black Canyon!!!"

Rathbone - Couple review

"Spent the night at the Rathbone for a couple's weekend and we were very pleased. The contactless entry process, code, etc. was well communicated. We were able to check in, and come and go, without hassle or interruption. The building has been excellently remodeled/updated and was immaculately clean. Our room was spacious and comfortable with many nice touches. The walk in rainforest shower was super great! The restaurant bar downstairs was super inviting and cozy. Montrose is just small enough that everything is close. Parking wasn't an issue easy to find. Wonderful stay overall and we'd stay again. Thanks! "

"Ive stayed in this place before and since then they remodeled. Its absolutely wonderful. We skipped the ouray pool, saved money by just using the hot tubs on-site. The ladies who checked us in were wonderful and fun! Definitely pay the $5 for robes. They are very nice after hot tubbing to wrap around. The breakfast was great; eggs, bacon, sausage, breads, fruit, drinks. I would highly recommend this resort. We did the suite and it was very nice; queen beds, restroom, small fridge, micowave, kuerig coffee pot and pods, and a living room to chill out in. Absolutely wonderful. Thank you!"
