"Had a pleasant stay here at Posada el Quijote. Very friendly staff, knowledgeable and directed us to various areas all around costa rica based on our interests. The pool area has a super nice view. Breakfast was wonderful every morning. Gate is locked at night so you have to wait for gate keeper to get back in late. We tipped all the staff when we left for their amazing hospitality. "

"This is a reasonably priced boutique hotel close to the airport. They offer an airport shuttle for $5 (only leaving from the hotel) and breakfast is available for $11. The hotel works well for a quick overnight stay in San Jose before flying out or when flying back into the country and not wanting to make the long drive home at night. The hotel is behind a tall motorized gate and also within a small cul de sac that is also gated so it feels safe. We did not partake of the breakfast so we can't...

"We loved our stay. Lorie was the ultimate hostess and welcomed us with a beverage and great patio space to hang out as we arrived earlier than check in time.
