Luckily the ceiling was higher so not as claustrophobic as it could've been. Lack of natural night was noticeable. There is a small window opening into a "courtyard" but not enough for my liking. "A great little place to stay when you visit Florence. Due to size of room and bathroom, its Great if you are a student or middle age single visitor. Being more senior& couple, it was very tight.
