"A unique type of "hotel". The room concept with a shared kitchen was great. You received biscuits and coffee but the equipment to have your own breakfast as well as space in a common fridge. Room was spacious with a view of the sea and private balconies. A great concept that suited our needs. Host was amazing."

"Don’t go to this place, or his other Iris B&B / Inn. Terrible location, and nothing works. Supposed to have breakfast included - but nothing! very noisy - street traffic and honking is awful. Sleeping isn’t easy. He used my balcony as a towel drying place, which meant workers were in and out. Again, nothing works. Security box, A/C, TV, even the shower - a bolt on the shower door handle fell off while I was showering and rolled into the drain. The guy now claims he’s going to sue me for the cost...

"The room and accommodations were clean and well maintained. Getting into the building you had to get in using your cell phone and then through a grate and then up a couple flights of stairs. "The area is really nice. You can go for a walk, to the beach, etc. and feel safe. However the room smells like humidity so we had to buy a scent spray. Because of the humidity the clothes do not dry so it’s complicated for long stays. The bed is not the most comfortable and it’s not completely dark. However we had a great time in Salerno and recommend it. "

"Nice little apartment, located right in the middle of the historic center, few blocks from the cathedral and adjacent to the waterfront. The host is very responsive to messages and requests. We used Salerno as a base for traveling to Amalfi via ferry, but we also found the city itself quite charming and worth a visit."

"We stayed for two nights in a triple room. The room was very spacious and clean. The owner Daniel is super nice. He was incredibly accommodating and made sure that all my needs were met. "Strange location down an alley, off of an old cobblestone street. Had 3 different electronic entries, an old, tiny lift that didnt quite line up with the floor. It took being sent 3 codes to get to finally get in and there were roll down shutters on the outsides of the windows, which couldn't be opened. We never met a live person and the whole experience was strange. On an up note. The shower and bed were better than adequate"

"We truly enjoyed this quaint suite. Location was perfect for us: beautiful views, charming town, good proximity to Amalfi Coast, Naples, Pompeii, and Salerno. You can take a ferry from Salerno to main towns on Amalfi Coast and Capri. Just keep in mind that having a car (the smaller the better) is a must for this location. Parking spot is included with rental which is perfect. The house is located in a private gated compound with breathtaking views. We would come back in a heartbeat. "
