"This property was a scam and expedia was of no assistance in helping me get my money back. From before I reached Jamaica I contacted expedia to let them know I was unable to get in contact with the property. I did not have access to the property and yet expedia sees no issue with taking my money to give to these scammers."

"We had a fabulous time at the villa, it was the perfect size for our group of 8. The staff was lovely—chef cooked incredible Jamaican meals, everyone was quick to help out and very hospitable. Every question was answered, every need addressed. It’s a very peaceful place with a stunning view of the bay, lots of interesting day trips in the parish as well—we really enjoyed learning more about Jamaican history. Highly recommend for a quick long weekend in Jamaica. "

"The AC is not working there is only two beds, not three beds that was stated by the host!!! She had another guest at the house at 11am on us which is very unprofessional I rate it a 5 out of 10 "

"Shimmering Waters is exactly as advertised and the perfect relaxing getaway for my family to ring in the New Year. We loved the daily breakfasts prepared by Miss Amera the cook and had her come back for dinner to cook the red snapper we caught on our fishing trip! Sir Baker was a great driver and tour guide. "Will never EVER CONSIDER staying here again and I will never advise family or friends to come to this property. Poor communication, no cable no pool no remote for the TV. The television that they did have was broken doors open and shut all night by themselves or the wind. If you let them tell it you have to bring your own tissue. You have to bring your own Wi-Fi for Internet fire stick you had to bring your own trash bags, Netflix it was not up to par for anything other than having a roof over...

"I travel often to Jamaica - staying at different villas and this stay was beyond expectations. The villa is even more beautiful than the pictures depict. Staff here is extremely hospitable and professional. Clayton the butler was friendly, always available when needed and accommodating to every request - morning or night. Chef Shellane was spectacular. Her meals were delicious and she had a joyful friendly attitude. My stay here was beyond expectations and I hope to return here again in the near...

"This was our second time staying at Springville. It remains our family’s favorite vacation spot! The house, view and grounds are beautiful but the staff are who make the experience extra special! Highly recommend it for families and couples. The owner is extremely reaponsive and accommodating. Can’t wait to visit again!!"

"More like a hotel in set up, with one pool, but it was clean, the access to Doctor's Cave beach was included and easy (and the highlight of the stay!), and close enough to the airport that we had time for an ocean swim on the morning of departure. The facilities were kept very clean, the food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. Special shout outs to Renalda from Chukka, to Satia and Winston in the dining hall, to Loretta, to Diedre at front desk, to Andre, and to Troy who stopped all the traffic."
