"Fantastic experience! The Hobbit House is compact but extremely comfortable and functional! The hosts were very kind and hospitable, offering us a welcome basket with fresh eggs, bread and orange juice. They also shared lots of excellent suggestions for places to visit and even shared homemade sausages and regional wine with us! The surrounding farm is very quaint and we enjoyed feeding the horse and goats! An added bonus was being able to hold newly hatched chicks! The farm is minutes...

"Fabulous town house with 3 floors. Bedrooms on the lower floor & 2 bathrooms. Up the stairs to a lovely open plan kitchen/diner which was really well equipped. The upper floor was a lovely roof terrace with stunning views out to the beach. We had 3 kids with us, 12, 10 & 8. 2 flights of stairs in the place so might be a bit much for small kids or people with mobility issues. Excellent location, only 3 min walk to the square. We had a fabulous time here. Elite rentals were excellent to deal with"

"Nice villa with easy access to everything. Short drive to Carvoeiro if you need a little more pace. A few fantastic beaches are within range. We visited in Oct. and there were a lot of flies in and around the home but the home and pool were in great shape. The host is accessible and responds quickly. A very pleasant stay."

"We had a very peaceful stay at La quinta azul. Philippe and Bernard were perfect hosts, and Nino of course. The Quinta is in the perfect location to go to Lagos, Faro, and Portimao and the weather was always so nice in Silves. The property itself is beautiful, surrounded by cacti and olive trees, you’re able to walk through the trails on the property. Our only recommendation for improvement would be comfier beds and better wifi - but those are minor details.We will most certainly be back 😊"

"Sonja and Estrela were terrific hosts. The home is large and immaculate and the pool was AMAZING. It worked very well for our family, and we had a great time there. "This 2 story villa was better than online photos. Issues in past reviews have been fixed so we found no faults. There is a beautiful beach with caves and 2 restaurants nearby. You can drive there if you are not up to the rocky hike down to the beach. The property is well maintained and the furnishings are comfortable. "Good sized home in good location, however very disappointed at the lack of basic cleaning materials and cleaning products. In particular laundry facilities lacking (cloths horse in v poor condition, no pegs, no refuse bags or dishwasher tabs etc). No basic condiments in kitchen (not even salt and pepper) which for the price point was v disappointing . Property managers were helpful with having faulty doors repaired (required as security was a concern). Overall probably 5/10 for value for money...

"We had a lovely 9 days in Portugal. The villa had everything that was required, it was clean, well equipped with a great pool and garden area. Fully air conditioned was also a great addition. I do however think the advert needs a small update as we never found the hot tub, however this did not affect our stay at all. Would highly recommend."

"My family and I had the best holiday staying in this villa. The property is a really good size and it was a bonus having a lovely private pool in the garden, It is within walking distance of the beach, super market and lots of restaurants and bars. Louis was very friendly and helpful and we look forward to staying here again in the future. "
