"Visited in January 2025 which is the slow season for the Algarve. Quiet location in Carvoeiro with numerous shops and restaurants. During my stay there was maintenance being performed at the resort as well as various business in town. Property is clean and well maintained."

"Everything in the apartment has been thought about. Wanted to cook in for a couple of days and the kitchen was superb. Really appreciated the Christmas cushions and tablecloth and wine/water in the fridge. View from balcony was great and tv had everything from bbc to Netflix.Highly recommended "

"Excellent stay at Apartamentos Tucha.Very central about 30 metres from Albufeira escalators this everything was at walking distance. Met Andre on arrival who communicated well prior to arrival and provided a good introduction to the apartment. The stay included free cleaning on 6th day which was done at high standards. The apartment doesn't have a washing machine and dishwasher but that is how it is advertised.There are launderettes within 10 minutes walk."

"La literie mériterait un petit rafraîchissement (les oreillers)"

"Everything was as expected in the condo, except for heating. There were 3 space heaters, one in each bedroom and one in the living room. They worked very well, but left the rest of the condo chilly. We were surprised at the mention of a possible extra charge for overuse of electricity. Hopefully we won’t get one!All in all, a great condo in a lovely location. Be sure to do the Seven Hanging Valleys trail - spectacular!!"

"Loved this property and location. Short walk to a great beach. Market and restaurants also in close proximity. Access to outdoor sitting area a great plus. Iolanda was very helpful and left lots of extras to support a family at the beach (cooler, toys, umbrella). Also a central location to explore other areas of the Algarve. Good size for family of 4 with two teens. Parking very convenient. Would easily recommend."

"Room 511 說是提供2間房，1間是沒有冷氣沒有窗，另1間有冷氣設備壞了，由第一天入到第十天都不整沒有更垃圾，只有更垃圾的酒店，第1日到步同行友人，因為酒店房內的洗手間門鎖壞了被困在內，去電房東十多次電話聯絡求助，是完全不聽電話且更一直都沒有回覆，直到聯絡酒店方面，才肯勉強下又極不願意地幫忙下找工人開鎖，被困在洗手間超過廿分鐘的親人，這是非常極度冷血又不負責既非常拙劣的行為同服務。第1日到步是星期六入住即時發現房間的冷氣壞了，房東口頭上說會星期一會有人來到來維修，豈料一去已經是到今日已是第10日都沒有人來維修，昨天第8日才有人來清潔房間，實在令人憤怒與不能接受的，因第一日入住時說是5日會提供1次清潔房間服務的，可是入住到第8日才有人來清潔房間，且1間房間是完全無冷氣設備的。十分驚嘆又感荒謬的是，除了第1日入住時提供過2卷超細廁紙及2小樽蚊形沖涼液外，就要等到第8日在再三摧四請下才有人清潔房間及提供2卷廁紙及2樽仔蚊形SIZE的沖涼液給我們3人入住使用就完全再沒有補給了，入住到今日已經是11日，房東仍然完全沒有來電給我們任何回覆。此實在完全不合理既充滿反感及討厭。"

"Great location close to everything. I only stayed one night but enjoyed the stay. The apartment was quiet, spacious and comfortable, the kitchen was a bit basic with no other amenities than a kettle and some cups. The restaurant was great with lovely food and very nice staff. Overall, great value for money. "

A wonderful find

"We booked this on a bit of a last minute family trip and it turned out to be a delight. The breakfast and dinner are fantastic, all the staff are very friendly and lots of them made a fuss of our children and kept them smiling. Drinks are reasonably priced, our family room was spacious. We had a partial sea view that we were happy with. Room service did a great job tidying up each day. There’s no bad things I have to say about the place, just wish the weather was better but you can’t have it all. We will definitely come back to Dom Jose. Location is fantastic too!"

"If you’re thinking of booking do not hesitate! We enjoyed every minute and had no issues from start to finish. The food, staff, beautiful interior, gardens, it was just perfect and the ultimate experience to relax and switch off. I loved the little personal touches like toothbrushes, toothpaste, the vanity pack, a razor, gorgeous scented body lotion, wine, chocolates. I could just keep going. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at the Domes Lake, we will be back! "
