"I thought that the spa offering was both unique and a nice vip offering. I said no to the offering prior as I did not get an up graded room. I did request a different room because of the steps and we had told them before that we could not lug the luggage up more steps. They did move us to an end room but it was not any different than the one we had aside from the no steps needed to enter the room from the hall. "

"We picked this hotel because it was not in the heart of Florence and it offered free parking. We arrived in a rental car. The hotel is modern but lovely and very comfortable. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The breakfast is fantastic. We even had dinner there one evening and the food is wonderful. The best part is that the trolley/train stop is right in front of the hotel and is a 12 minute ride to the center of Florence. "

"Staff were awesome! Hotel is beautiful. Would stay again. Beds were super comfortable. Best sleep we got in Italy. This resort was a nice break from the city visits. The spa was nice, but the open hours made it difficult to plan days to visit areas like Pisa and Florence and spend time there without missing the spa closing. We did not have breakfast or lunch at the resort but we did have dinner. As someone who is accustomed to fine dining, it was disappointing. Food was under seasoned and lacked depth of flavor. I would definitely stay here again! Just next time venture down the way 5 minutes to a local restaurant. ☺️"
