"Casa do Santo was a wonderful little guest house hidden away in the pretty village of Provesende, with fantastic views of the vineyards and mountains beyond. It was quiet and relaxing and the staff were very helpful. The food was excellent and plentiful. We would highly recommend a stay in this lovely place!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Quinta da Marka! It was beautiful and on such a picturesque spot along the river. It was so relaxing and a restful spot for our honeymoon. The train station is nearby to get to other cities if you wanted to, otherwise it is quite isolated in this area. Walking over to Quinta do Crasto for a wine tasting & tour was a highlight of the area too! The Quinta offered breakfast, lunch, and dinner which was very convenient. "Absolutely lovely setting! The room was a nice size and had a lovely outdoor sitting area overlooking the river. The breakfast was very good and the restaurant was attractive. There were however, some things that could be improved. First, the walk to our room was somewhat strenuous with luggage in tow. "We really enjoyed our time in Maria’s place. She gave us a lovely welcome and made us feel at home. We loved all the space and the house and grounds were beautiful. The kids loved the pool and the garden including seeing frogs in the pond! It was very easy to get to Braga and Porto, wished we could have stayed longer! Thank you!"
