"we did late-check-in. but the way that pass the key was really irresponsible and NOT safe, I think. I didnt realize her contact & 24hour contact didn't work, so we took long time to check-in (Guimaraes might be a safe place, but...😥😫) Also "the reception opens at 10am" is too late. the price is really reasonable if guests don't do late-check-in. "Loved the pool, very nice hosts, great breakfast, room was nice, however the description of amenities is not accurate - there was not air conditioning in the room, or is there a restaurant or pool side bar, which left us stuck for lunch when enjoying the pool. "We loved the property itself, the apartments are so nice! The only issue we had was finding the place. The address they provide is just the street it's located on. To find the guest house, you need to go to the Godim cemetery and look across the street. Other way to find it is a couple houses to the West of the church. Other than that, it's a great stay! Hopefully they will update their address in the future! "

"We had 2 rooms and they were both extremely clean and so picturesque. It was a rainy night and our room was a bit chilly but fortunately my son and his girlfriend in the other room prefer a cool room we used the extra blanket in their room and had a cozy sleep. The only less comfortable part was that there was only a single pillow per person and they were a bit small. The breakfast the next morning was amazing, with so much variety and homemade goodness."
