"The front desk guys are cool. They have a small snack selection and waffles and eggs and other contenential breakfast items. Was it the best la quinta I've been in No, but it's pretty close to Charleston, it's by the water and a decent restaurant and it was nice to grab an Uber to get downtown pretty quick without shelling out 500-1000 a night for the expensive hotels in downtown Charleston. Of course that would have been ideal but we're teachers so that's not doable for us. This hotel is clean, yes it could be updated and needs hardware to be fixed in the bathroom and maybe mattress updating but it was safe and clean and somewhere to sleep at night. It is exactly what you would expect from chain motel/hotels. Still we had a great weekend in Charleston and got the room at a great price and was still only 15 minutes away from downtown. "

"Everyone was really nice. Highly recommend the Hyatt house. No free parking on premises. You either pay underground parking at hotel or valet park which to me was the easiest. Tyler the valet guy was so very nice and helpful. "
