"Miguel is a wonderful host as is his wife Maria. Their bespoke room was perfectly equipped with everything you need for a self catering stay. Exceptionally clean. We shortened our stay as we had seen all we needed in Menton. Our only gripes are the many steps to climb back up to the room if you walk into town for an evening meal. Anyone with heart/breathing difficulties would struggle with this. The garden is a beautiful spot looking out over the med, sadly the room is facing their home so...

"The apartment is as advertised, spacious, in a perfect location and extremely well equipped. It would be helpful if there were dish cloths and T-towels included. Also, refuse bags and information on how to dispose of rubbish and bottles. As older ladies we felt perfectly safe."

"This is a lovely apartment with great views of the sea and a beautiful garden/ eating area on the terrace. The apartment inside is comfortable and the kitchen works well. We spent 5 weeks in the apartment and cooked multiple meals a week. You can walk to the heart of Menton in just over 5 mins and the beach in 10 minutes. The last 200 meters or so back up is a bit steep but at 59 with a bad knee I made it without any difficulty and would not hesitate to stay here again. Michele’s communication...

It's within easy walking distance of virtually everything in Monte Carlo (though I'd recommend taking a bus up to the old town area), but keep in mind that Monte Carlo is a _very_ hilly city. There are multiple public elevators and escalators to help you get around, so it's not so bad once you learn where those are (before we learned that, we ended up doing ~70 flights of stairs on one day; it's _very_ hilly).
