"Miguel is a wonderful host as is his wife Maria. Their bespoke room was perfectly equipped with everything you need for a self catering stay. Exceptionally clean. We shortened our stay as we had seen all we needed in Menton. Our only gripes are the many steps to climb back up to the room if you walk into town for an evening meal. "We were blessed with mild and sunny days during our stay in Mme Surays fine appartment, so we could stay outside on the lovely terrasse from morning til night - we selvom cook during Xmas-NEw year stays in Garavan; but a full and well equipped and functioning kitchen is there, all you could possibly need - good beds, nice linen and big and plenty towels, which we Vikings appreciate. It's within easy walking distance of virtually everything in Monte Carlo (though I'd recommend taking a bus up to the old town area), but keep in mind that Monte Carlo is a _very_ hilly city. "This is a lovely apartment with great views of the sea and a beautiful garden/ eating area on the terrace. The apartment inside is comfortable and the kitchen works well. We spent 5 weeks in the apartment and cooked multiple meals a week. You can walk to the heart of Menton in just over 5 mins and the beach in 10 minutes. The last 200 meters or so back up is a bit steep but at 59 with a bad knee I made it without any difficulty and would not hesitate to stay here again. Michele’s communication...
