"We really enjoyed our stay. 2 Adults and 2 children (11&9). Location is outside of the city center but it was good to be near the windmills, have the use of the boat and the bikes which we would not have had if we had been in the city center. Children really liked staying on the houseboat. We bought food from the Dekemart and ate at Het Heerenhuis twice which was very good. Uses Uber and the bus to get around as well as the bikes. "The rental is attached to the main house and is truly wonderful. Beautiful sunsets and plenty of room for everyone. We came with 10 people and were comfortable. The bedroom downstairs was perfect for us and the bed was nice and hard(I don’t like a super soft bed). There were all kinds of seasonings and drinks in the fridge for the folks who like to cook. It’s close to the Zaanse Schans and very close to just about everything. We were all very pleased."

"We we’re supposed to get toiletries because I did not pack toiletries. There were no toiletries. It would be nice to get toweling for the kitchen and extra bags for the garbage."

"Loved the location! The windmills were directly across the water. The view was amazing. The room was extremely comfortable and it had a huge bathroom. Breakfast was included and was perfect for the morning. I loved how it came served on a tiered tray. This whole location is a must stay for anyone looking for a Netherlands experience. "The staffing and service was amazing, but the clarification of which building is which is very confusing. Please make sure to double check with staffing about which of the three buildings you can go to. Also make sure to get a email of your code or you might be a bit stranded. "What a wonderful stay! The hosts were so welcoming, making you feel like a guest in their home. My room was lovely and clean, with thoughtful touches throughout. I visited at Christmastime, and there were even a couple of decorations in the room. Breakfast was fantastic. If you are staying upstairs, the stairs are very narrow and steep, which made me a bit nervous with a big suitcase, but the kind host helped me carry my suitcase up and bring it back down. "This apartment was beautiful. Very modern, clean and spacious for our family of 5. Marina it is located is immaculately kept and has all amenities. Beautiful back deck overlooking Marina where we had our coffee each day while watching sailboats on the water. Rental company is there with an office if you need anything. We would stay here again when we return to this area. There is really nothing that could be improved with this property."

"Emplacement très agréable à moins d’1 heure d’Amsterdam en voiture puis en train. Logement en bungalow d’un bon confort et bien équipé. "It was very convenient to the train station. The rooms were large, and the kitchen was great! We just picked things up at the grocery store and put them in the oven. There were some restaurants close, but we chose to just eat in the room. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. There’s not a coffee maker in the room, but there is a coffee downstairs and it’s relatively inexpensive."

"Amazing hotel! We booked a deluxe room and the room was huge, super comfy king sized bed with the best pillows! The shower was nice and powerful, good sized bathroom, hair dryer. There was a UK socket in the room and some USB sockets. We stayed here for Amsterdam, the train station is literally 4 min walk away and the train into Amsterdam takes 15 mins! It’s so convenient. We had to pay city tax when we checked in, lovely reception area and friendly staff! "

"We have just returned from a 4 night stay at this hotel, reception and lounge is on 9th floor the views are great, on occasion the reception maybe unmanned but there was a clear notice advising to used the moxy reception located on the ground floor, we arrived about 1pm, receptionist advised us if we joined the marriot membership we could have early access to our room and were upgraded, our room was a studio which was a great space consisting of kitchen area, lounge and very comfie bed, bathroom with a walk in shower, our view was over the port which was great, the staff were welcoming, friendly and approachable, we made use of the pool and sauna, towels are provided, you just ask at the moxy reception, there are lovely clean changing/shower facilities, the breakfast was well presented and good choice of options and it was tasty to, the staff ensured it was topped up and clear of mess, "
