Children friendly
Half an hour to Amsterdam and half an hour to the beach. Quiet place with pool and activities for the children. Not for light sleepers as the planes from Shiphol Airport flies over the park all day and almost all night.

We loved having a whole house to ourselves, complete with a mostly full kitchen! We felt safe and secure because of the gated entrance. Having the office closed at 5:00 most days was a bit challenging at times as we were often touring during the day and had questions in the evening. But when we were able to ask our questions, they were very helpful!

Our property was clean and nice. It is in a beautiful park like area. It is not ideal for people without a car, because it's pretty far from Haarlem, Amsterdam and too far to walk to groceries. The kitchen was sparsely furnished, so a little hard to self-cater.

Enjoyable stay but come prepared!
Good option for those looking to rest whilst not too far from Amsterdam. Quite far to cycle into town though! We loved our accommodation but were disappointed by limited reception hours (they only open at 9am), little guidance from staff before and during our stay (no towels are provided!) and the lack of facilities on site (no mini market in case you forgot something, no information on closest supermarket and no restaurant) 😞

Super clean and modern and spacious - wonderful property! It felt like a plush 2nd home. Stayed there with our boys and our Great Dane and were super comfortable. About 1/2 way between beach and Amsterdam, easy to get to both in about 15 mins. Lovely view of tree, nature and little creeks. CONS: we did not know that towels would not be provided but that was a relatively easy fix compared to how much we liked everything else. Also, it's about 10 min drive to next grocery store so stock up well before getting there!

Very roomy home and perfect for a family of up to 4. Many previous reviews mention cleanliness - this home was "clean" but at the same time not superclean. Nothing worth complaining over, but could have been better. The home was in As most other reviews note, there is airplane noise. The home was nearly soundproof with all windows and doors closed.

Staff were great, pool and bouncy pillow were fantastic for the kids (6 and 8), but the accommodation I don't think was the one I paid for and was quite basic, cleanliness was not great (also not terrible), the 1 HR booking for the gym was a bit annoying and not open late. The pictures of a nice pub on site - not the case there is no pub

Das Haus war sauber und das einchecken ging schnell und einfach. Das Haus war in gutem Zustand, das einzige was uns störte war dass es keine Klima gibt und es sehr heiß war. Auch sind keine Fliegengitter an den Fenstern, welche vielleicht den ein oder anderen Mückenstich verhindert hätten. Der Fluglärm, der in einigen Bewertungen erwähnt wird, hat uns null gestört, wir haben es kaum wahr genommen/ konnten es total ausblenden. Was etwas schade war, war dass unsere Terrasse mit Ameisen befallen war. Es war trotz großen Bemühungen nicht möglich draußen in Ruhe zu essen etc. Insgesamt waren wir aber positiv überrascht und würden für einen Kurzurlaub mit Hund wiederkehrenden.

Vi hadde et kjempe fint opphold, fin hytte med to bad :-) eneste de kunne gjort andelenes er å fikse nøkkel til den ene døra på soverommet så man kunne fått luft inn istedenfor å kun ha et lite baderoms vindu oppe når det er varmt. Vi sa i fra men det ble ikke gjort noe med.

Das Haus, sofern über Hotels.com gebucht, inkludiert keine bezogenen Betten, Handtücher im Bad oder ähnliches. Über den Park direkt wird es ersichtlich, dass zumindest keine Ausstattung vorhanden ist, diese aber gebucht werden kann. Die Sauberkeit war in Ordnung, Geschirr war teilweise dreckig. Im Bad waren teilweise Lampen in der Decke defekt

Fluglärm tagsüber ist unkritisch, wenn man sich die meiste Zeit auswärts aufhält. Die Sauberkeit ist befriedigend, könnte aber an den verdeckten Stellen verbessert werden. Ansonsten einfach, aber funktional und brauchbar für ein paar Tage Rauskommen. Gerne buchen wir wieder.
