"The outside appearance and the lobby was very warm and inviting. The sitting area and bar area in the Lobby were decorated nicely. The staff were welcoming and very kind. I did pick the room with upgrade listed on Expedia and paid a little more for the upgrade but I am not sure what the upgrade was. I did not like my room very much. "Finding this lovely cottage was serendipitous for us because we were headed home on Super Bowl Sunday and the hotel prices in Louisiana were astronomical. We worked backwards into Mississippi trying to find somewhere reasonable and found this charming place. It was private, clean and quiet with a driveway right up to the porch. "The room/suite was great and lots of space for our family with 3 small children. Close proximity to restaurants, casinos and beach. Office staff was not the best, wouldn't allow check-in at the time listed on the hotels.com confirmation email; however, a call to hotels.com got that remedied."
