"Friendly staff! The check in process was easy and Hirim at the front desk was amazing!!! The bartender was great and definitely ask about the secret wall!!! The room was perfect… large room and beds are so comfy! Having a fridge and microwave was a great convenience! Highly recommend!"

"Cottage is welcoming , cozy, safe and clean . A feel good weekend stay !"

"We stayed in Mae-Mae's Room at the Steele Cottage and it was great for our needs. Well appointed, conveniently located and easily accessible, yet removed from the core downtown area for privacy. The breakfast service at the Duff Green Mansion B&B was good for a first morning, but the 3+ block walk is not directly toward the main part of downtown and the river. I suggest equipping the Steele Cottage with bottled waters and snack items in each room for optimal convenience."

"We've stayed here several times. The Tiny Getaway is consistently clean and comfortable and the location is located right in the lovely Belhaven district. It's the first place we look at each time we visit Jackson."

"Perfect getaway! Such a great location and beautiful home. Loved the view of the river. The sunsets were so pretty. The walking trail sidewalk is so nice and safe even at night. We enjoyed walking on the scenic trail to eat. We would definitely stay again! "

"It was really nice. I stayed in the out lying rooms. There are huge columns across the porch with rocking chairs. They were named after the actors from the movie filmed in Natchez “The Horse Soldiers” "

"My sister, brother-in-law and I stayed at the Shell House for Thanksgiving this year but also to have a small memorial for my mom who passed away in August. It was the perfect place to be together and remember her and celebrate her favorite place be, the MS Gulf Coast, where she grew up. The place has everything and even though the setting is perfect, and the decor is just beautiful, it has a feeling of "home" and that is what we miss the most about our mama. Old, repurposed wood, and exposed supports add architectural flair. Fully equiped kitchen, comfortable bed, big closet, thick towels. A wall of windows provides natural light for this first floor suite. The quiet, walkable neighborhood is 10 minutes from downtown Jackson. The host responds quickly."
