"Lots of good things to say about this hotel. Really great location in the heart of town in Kyoto. Staff were very friendly and helpful, ordering cabs, directing us to nearby laundry etc. Room was quiet and very comfortable (though not a beautiful view if that’s what you’re after), bathroom large by Japanese standards with a separate toilet. Hotel restaurant was nice and breakfast a good standard. Stayed here with my partner, and 84 year old mother in neighbouring room. I noticed that she felt very comfortable and at ease staying here, chatting to staff and wanting to eat in the hotel all the time. Walking distance to many activities and to train stations. Definitely recommend, very good value for the price we paid with Expedia."

"This is my most favourite hotel in Japan trip. very reasonable price Location is alway best for convenience if you use public transportation Fast check in and out Supper friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is delicious! Only thing you need to be aware of that if you have lots of luggage you need to size down or well organized in order to keep the room tidy while stay . The room is small but well arrange and adequate. Most of the time we spent time to discover places so that matter weren’t bother me at all especially for their fair price! Definitely will Comeback and recommend to everyone. "
