"Had a good experience overall. The hotel is conveniently located near many eateries and Umekoji stat, making it easy to explore the area. However, there were a few issues. The air conditioning unit has a broken outer part, and the shoji screens were torn. Additionally, the Netflix stopped working after a few days. On the positive sides, the cloth drying feature in the bathroom room was fantastic and very convenient. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made my stay more pleasant...

"We had a wonderful 4 nights at Hostel Familia. So nice to have 3 bedrooms with my husband and I and our two adult children. Everyone has their own space and privacy. We also so appreciated the extra support from our hosts in terms of pickup/drop off at the train station upon arrival. Highly recommend!"

"This traditional Japanese home was absolutely perfect for our trip. Yui-San was accommodating from start to finish. I wish we had more time to truly appreciate the lengths taken to make us feel comfortable in their home, it was only on our last day that I found the brand new toothbrushes by the sink. Yui-San was even kind enough to allow us to use their fancy tea set, the slim-compact washing machine, their full kitchen and even the kotatsus in every room! The entire property was well taken care...

"Very nicely maintained rustic atmosphere. We really dug the vibe of the house. The outdoor bath tub was awesome! I used it several times and it made for very memorable mornings in what seemed like a dream setting. The air conditioning units were adequate for controlling the temperature of the house to our needs. The washer/dryer was also a life saver as this stay was halfway through out trip across Japan and we really needed to refresh our clothes. There were several convenience stores in close...

"Great location, just a few minutes walk to Kyoto station, which is key to travel and shop. We booked deluxe twin room, nice space, but the bed was too small to share with children (we are a family of 3), bit overall it’s comfortable."

"Great place, right in front of Osaka station and being a great hub. Option for eco-cleaning for the rooms, self-serve laundry service available, and even a wonderful garden to view while in the lobby space Only complaint is that the room was smaller than I thought it would be, but still good nonetheless"
