"Property is beautiful. Waterfront is so nice. Definitely not super fancy but does the job. French press coffee only. Did not like that. One had a crack in it. Our only real complaint was the number of flies we had to kill every afternoon in the kitchen. If the owner fixed the kitchen door this won’t be a problem. Beautiful place. Would stay again. Would have liked a microwave and kcup coffee pot."

"The pictures don't do justice. The visit to the Hobbit house was amazing. The drivie way to get in is a little oasis is tricky but manageable. Just don't do it with a corvette.lol. Commutation with the host was great and never felt like they didn't want to help or provide a great stay!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this mountain hill home. So clean and comfortable. It was equipped with the necessary high speed wi-fy as well as 2 smart tvs. We did have a couple of issues that were quickly resolved by the owner and property manager as communication with them was excellent. The mountain and valley views from the front porch was magnificent. This was our second stay at this home and will definitely request it again in the future trips!"

"My family absolutely loved this property. The views are stunning and there is lots of space for everyone. The location is pretty remote, so the town is small and we really enjoyed meeting the locals. They directed us to a safe beach area so the kids could play in the water. "

"River View Home is a great base for exploring the Avenue of the Giants. It's got a well-stocked kitchen and a wonderful spacious bedroom on the main floor. It's by far the most private of the three houses on the property, and Marisa was a pleasure to work with. Just don't wait until you get to Miranda to buy your groceries. And don't be put off by the small number of reviews here -- there are hundreds of glowing reviews elsewhere on the interwebs."

"This home is a gem in Southern Humboldt. Just steps from the historic Benbow golf course. My kids loved the pool, it’s big and deep. Easy access right off Hwy 101, near the town of Garberville with good grocery stores. Close to Redwood groves and swimming holes on the Eel River. Comfortable beds and amazing views."

"Lovely property in Miranda/Myers Flats. Recently remodeled, top notch & cozy. Gas station & restaurant 1/2 mile down the road. So serene & beautiful! Would stay again! (there was a difficulty entering the property as the instructions were incorrect on the deadbolt, so it did take about an hour to get into the property. Somebody came by to help me out.)"

"This house is beautiful. Perfect setting. We really enjoyed the private setting. Didn't mind the 10-15 minute drive to Mirada(nearest restaurants/gas station). Perfect location for the Avenue of the Giants. The house is immaculate. Great sitting areas both inside and out. Security fence with private gate. Would absolutely stay here again."

"My husband and our inherited Vizla (daughter passed from cancer) had a peaceful 4 days with a majestic view. My husband a gourmet chef loved the gas stove and kitchen. The jacuzzi tub in the bedroom was a plus. Everything was clean and well maintained with some artistic touches. A short drive to a quiet beach away from the crowds was amazing!!"

"You can't beat the environment. It's in the middle of the redwoods. Each cabin-like room has big trees close by. The room is cute, like an antique; if this is your type of thing you probably would like it. However, it's quite old. The bathroom tube makes screeching noise (thankfully just for a minute or two) when first using faucet; the heater has a loud noise (dropping of water?) in the middle of night which woke us up. So we decided to turn the heater off -- it wasn't very cold that night,...
