"Our stay with Marty and Nita was perfect. Their mountain location is far more comfortable than La Fortuna with cooler temperatures, yet still 30 minutes from everything in the Arenal/La Fortuna areas. You can fly into either airport. "El lugar es muy bonito, espacioso y cómodo para viajar con niños. Se puede ver el volcán desde la ventana, cada uno de los espacios estaba perfectamente ordenado y con un nivel de limpieza espectacular! "The staff is amazing and extremely helpful. Our cabin overlooked the trees with birds galore. Plenty of trails around the property with a fish hatchery, flowers, fruit, etc. we opted for breakfast the first day but didn’t realize we were to tell them on the next day. Not sure what happened. Defiant would stay again. Pool was freezing so we couldn’t enjoy it very much when we were there. "

"We enjoyed a short stay at this home. Its in the perfect location for rural experience of Costa Rica, but close enough to jump over to La Fortunas tourist trap. We watched the parrots (yellow naped and toucans) play and eat every morning with the volcano backdrop. We also got to see a pizote on our ride into La Fortuna.
