"Not the worst not the best. If you’re looking for something affordable and quick it’s perfect. It could be cleaned a little better inside the rooms and even around the area. Place is just run down but perfect for a quick night stay. "

"Great getaway and beautiful river venue - good consideration for large gatherings close to DFW; Friendly and knowledgeable staff; however, we stayed on a Tuesday night and staff left at 5 so no access to recreation cabin, ice, lodge until next morning. Close enough to Mineral Wells to get dinner and drinks at the few places that were open on a Tuesday evening. Fishing dock was pleasant and strolling the grounds a unique experience. Bed just okay. "No problem with the house. It was clean and plenty of beds. There was a problem sleeping due to dogs barking (probably at cats) from 10:00 to 4:30 am. You might try the outdoor dog barking deterrent. It cost less than $30. Maybe a coffee table in the living room for drinks. Only one bedroom had a mirror so 4 women crowding one bathroom is not the best. Consider a cover for the patio coming summer."

"We came into town to float the Brazos for my birthday so super casual time and expectations. Driving to the property we were apprehensive on what to expect but pulled up to a house that has an amazing view. Could sit out all day and look over the valley and trees. Which brings me to the biggest point - why no patio furniture?! None whatsoever. Disappointing for a huge patio and absolutely gorgeous view.
