"We have been to the Blue Ridge area with our children and family in the past. This was NOT that trip. We planned a quiet week away for the two of us (my wife and I), and this property hit all of our benchmarks. The cabin is located close enough to Blur Ridge and Ellijay to make it a last minute day trip, but also close enough to Helen and Chattanooga for a day of fun. The property was spotless with all the needed amenities. Even though the river is a short walk, it was visible from the front porch and quick to get to with a glass of wine and a fishing pole. Ellen was great to deal with and we are hoping she has other property(s) we may be able to visit as a family as this was first class all the way. Highly recommend to the couple that needs some peace and quiet. Thank you again to our hosts. "

"House was very nice and furnishings were Restoration Hardware quality. Kitchen was more well equipped than previous reviews had stated. We had everything we needed. House had several oddities…light switches behind doors in closet, ceiling fan with no way to turn on, broken darts and pool sticks in game room (which was a garage with no heat) Overall such a. Beautiful house with nice furniture. And gorgeous views. "

"We have thoroughly enjoyed our visit at WoodHaven with family and friends. We had a little bit of trouble keeping the pilot lit but luckily 2 of our guys were plumbers for years and could troubleshoot, and the owners were very responsive to any of our questions. Very lovely stay!"

"We took a group of three families with adults and kids of all ages for the week of New Year’s. We all found the house to be cozy and full of amenities for everyone. Some people lounged in the hot tub while others went on a hike and others played foosball. We had a group of people who love to cook and the house had all the pots and pans and other necessities you could want. Also, close enough to get to all the cute shops and restaurants in Blue Ridge to go on a whim. I can’t recommend it highly enough! "

"My husband and myself took an impromptu trip to the Georgia mountains and Peak-a-Blue was perfect. The cabin is very comfortable and clean. The view of the mountains is great and the hot tub was a welcome addition. We cozied up to the fireplace in the evening and just relaxed. Check in was seamless and the host was very communicative and responsive when I had a question. We would love to come back when it’s a bit warmer to take advantage of all the area has to offer. "
