"The cabin was cute and very clean. The outside area has a fire pit, 4 iron chairs and 2 Adirondack chairs closer to the creek. They are chained to a tree so they couldn’t be moved. The creek is awesome , flowing and clean. The ad states “pet friendly” however I found out later that there was an extra pet fee. "Quaint little A-frame with plenty of space to hang out and explore. This was the perfect weekend getaway for me and my husband. We love camping and the outdoors and this property is beautiful, the A-frame made it easy and was perfect to relax and watch the heavy thunderstorms instead of worrying about the tent! If you enjoy interacting with friendly goats and pigs and possibly seeing a litter of piglets, highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back!"

We were completely relaxed enjoying the view from the deck. The property was minutes from Bushkill Falls and other awesome hiking trails were a short drive away. Instructions for check-in and out were clear and Patrick the host was responsive to all our questions. Would definitely want to visit this property again!!"

"My husband and I spent the weekend at the Elwood Escape for our wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed the set up of the home and we spent a lot of time in the back yard by the fire pit. We took advantage of the hikes and were able to bring our small dog with us. We also loved that one of the restaurants/bar was across the street from the home and were able to walk to the location. Over all we enjoyed this nice quiet escape from the city."

"Our trip was overall very nice. The place is super clean and has great amenities. The indoor pool was amazing for the kids especially after a long day on the mountain. The river in the back was beautiful! The house has plenty of space for guest to lounge and enjoy time with together. Shawnee Mountain is only 15 min away from the house as well.
