I was only in the area for two days before heading up to Hokkaido for the winter season, but being by the airport meant easy enough access to Tokyo. If you're looking for a longer stay in Tokyo I'd recommend staying closer to the city centre, but if it's a short stay and you aren't fussed by the hour or so train ride in then it's quite a nice place to be :)"
