"Nice hotel in deplorable maintenance conditions. Dirtiest carpets and couches I've ever seen. Carpets in the hallways and within the bedrooms had deep stains all throughout. Our mattress and bedsheets had stains on them as well. It's really a pity because the property has potential, but evidently the decision has been made to not invest a dime in maintaining it."

The restaurant was the only disappointment- the promotional poster outside shows a chef making a gourmet pasta in a cheese wheel so we thought it would be a nice restaurant, but instead it was a big, cold room with garish lights and a buffet. Food was ok. Not anywhere else to eat around there. Hotel itself is a perfect place to stay for the falls. Just walk...

"Everything from the welcome to check-out was first class. Every staff member seemed happy to see you and concerned that you had a great experience. All this plus avoiding the crowds by having the Falls open to you after closing made for a wonderful stay. It was our first visit to a Belmond Hotel and we will look for these in the future!"
