"I arrived solo at I Keu Ken Hostel on my first night in Argentina/Patagonia. Met great people there to hang out with. I was only there one night and it was definitely nice to arrive at a friendly hostel. The woman at the check-in desk (I forgot her name but she was from Costa Rica) was a gem. So nice, funny, and welcoming. She also made a dinner reservation for us at her friend's restaurant. He makes meals for local in his home! It was such a beautiful experience."

"Fabulous hostel, really warm mid winter - both in the room and common areas, fireplace, the dogs were an unexpected boon! Modern rooms with excellent floor heating - exactly what you want/need after a long day out in Patagonian winter! Good food in the restaurant (arepas!), hot dishes included in the free breakfast, amazing views, reasonably-priced laundry service. Short walk to the town centre. Really friendly and helpful staff. Couldn't be happier."

"The hotel is nice but there is no AC and it gets VERY hot in Calafate in the afternoons during summer. There’s no AC in the lobby either to be able to cool off. The bedrooms could be updated as they are a little outdated and so is the bathroom. "
