"Lovely location situated at the top of St Ives … a bit of a trek up the hill from the harbour. Hotel was lovely. Had a lovely room at the back of the hotel over looking tennis courts and gardens. Buffet breakfast very nice. All staff very friendly. Enjoyed the indoor pool . "

If you're looking for good value, this is a great option. Breakfast was buffet-style and you could ask for freshly cooked poached or fried eggs if you didn't want them scrambled. "Lovely hotel showing it age but in an elegant way. Food good breakfast was enjoyable and portions good. The location is stunning views to die for. Fantastic staff nothing to much not that we asked for much. The only drawback was the “caravan module toilet / shower room “ now I’m an above average sized person but if I’d been twiggey I would have struggled. I suppose you get what you pay for, but if I had known before I went I would have upgraded. A real letdown and really all I can remember about...

"Great stay thank you so much. The women who checked us in was brilliant, friendly, approachable and happy to help with anything. I didn’t catch her name but she was on the desk around 17:30 on the 20th March. The pool could do with a bit of maintenance but overall a great stay with a short walk to the beach and surrounding areas in Newquay. "

"This adults only hotel is fabulous! Stayed for a couple of nights and used the spa facilities. The location is good - a 15 minute walk to the town centre and a 10 minute walk to the Boardmasters Beach bar. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Bug shout out to Neil, Noah and Sarah, the breakfast team who were lovely. "
