"It’s a 3 star stay but with 5 star cleanliness and service, lovely people and the room was big with a very clean comfortable bed, the decor was nice enough but a little rough around the edges, certainly why it’s a 3 star- fresh paint but not to the highest of standards, functional furniture but needs updating etc, I would stay there again."

"Our stay at the East Beach Guesthouse was fantastic! The owners Rich & Mark were so welcoming to us & our dog! The guesthouse is right on the beachfront with parking just across the road (free parking pass given to us on arrival) & the guesthouse is beautiful. Great comfy bed, the room was spotless, great views, tea, coffee, biscuits, dog treats & a lovely breakfast served in the guest lounge. Thank you for everything Rich & Mark & hopefully we’ll see you both again soon! "

"The outside of the House was not good Paint peeling ect There was a lot of stairs to my room which I asked them about before staying but they said they hadn't received my message The room was clean Breakfast was included however there was nothing cooked Host was helpful & they helped carry my bags"

"A really lovely little place to stay. The room was spacious and the bed super comfortable. Having kitchen facilities to use is a bonus although we didn’t use them. The shower wasn’t great (rain head only) and I really struggled to work it. It would also be great to have a mirror in the bedroom area for getting ready as the only mirror was in the bathroom. "

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to drop our bags off earlier in the day before check in. The room was small but clean and very comfortable. We had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. "

"The apartment was clean and exactly what we was looking for as it was just a base for us to sleep and shower. The staff are friendly, unfortunately parking is not free and is quite expensive and they say there is parking in the area, unfortunately southsea/Portsmouth is on the ball with parking and is mostly only available for locals with a parking permits. If you like pubs,bars and restaurants you are in the right area as there are loads around. Yes i would stay there again."

"The room was very comfortable and ensuite. Tea and coffee facility was in kitchen next door to room my only criticism is the stairs to the rooms, very steep. I was there near there weekend so the outside noise was quiet loud until about 1/2 am but thats what you get if you choose this sort of location. This is not the property fault, is mine, if i want a quieter location then i should choose out of town hotels. This is a very good place to stay !! Check with owners for parking problems that...

"We had a wonderful stay at Saddlers :). Milky is a wonderfully attentive host. Attended to our every need & was very knowledgeable about local restaurants and places of interest too. We had a very relaxing stay."
