"The location of this hotel is ideal. It is located right on the South shore of Lake Superior and a small river. The view from the lake view room we reserved was fantastic. We also enjoyed sleeping with the drapes open so that we could see all of the stars over the lake while laying in bed. The grounds are also excellent. There are benches and logs to sit on while watching the sunset, looking at stars, or the Northern Lights. Unfortunately we did not see the Northern Lights. They were visible there the night before our arrival."

"Three single retired ladies stayed here while exploring Porcupine Mountains, Ironwood and other sites in the area. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We would stay here again. "

"We had a great relaxing weekend on the lake Gogebic. Property was exactly as described. Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked. We loved that it was right next door to the Gogebic Lodge, convenient to dine out. By the way, food there was delicious! "We wanted a short getaway that would accept the dogs. This was perfect. Very dog friendly spot and area. Close to Lake Superior, Porcupine Mountains, and Lake of the Clouds. Modest house, homey. Very well stocked kitchen and bath. White Pine MI is a very small community without many services, which is why I didn't rate location as excellent. But, we came prepared with what we needed and enjoyed our stay. "

" A lot of hard work went into the remodel of this house. Loved everything, especially the garage that is off the kitchen. It's close to all the cool river parks and has a complete kitchen. I tried to check 5 stars across the board, but the form didn't work."
