"This is a pleasant, quiet, updated and well-maintained small stone house. The garden is beautiful and restful, and the location is excellent. A few things: there is a narrow, very steep spiral staircase which is not for the uncoordinated or faint of heart. The kitchen is minimal, with little tableware, a half-dishwasher, and no oven, which we note because we had intended on baking a birthday cake. The landlady/family are very nice and help to make for a pleasant stay."

"Gilles was an excellent host, and the house and yard are fantastic. We really enjoyed Rustrel and the surrounding area. In addition to the great bakery in town, we liked Au Pierrot Blanc in Apt (lavender ice cream) and horseback riding at the Horse Farm De Joucas (beautiful trail rides through vineyards, lavender fields). There are so many great things to do nearby that it's hard to choose, though! We enjoyed all of the helpful recommendations from Gilles."

Beds were comfortable and the location was great for food shopping and restaurants. A few short comings: No points on One Key account. Owner does not subscribe. Pool was not heated as advertised, but was nice with cool weather. Owner speaks no English as advertised. Husband speaks some, but he is not...
