"We stayed Christmas 24 when there was 3 days of heavy snow. As chalet has a steep drive and stepper approach road, ensure you have winter tyres and chains. Could only improve house in 3 areas, a microwave, hoover to clean up, better range of kitchen utensils e.g. working mixer, not broken blender, range of sauce pan sizes, and a large metal sieve. But wonderful house, warm, and comfy. Neighbours are lovely."

"We had a fantastic stay at this property in Brienz. Our 2 teens had the top floor to themselves, which they loved!! We all enjoyed the pool esp the youngest of our group who used it every day. Lovely quiet area with superb views, and easy access to Interlaken for daily outings. Highly recommend. "

"We spent 10 wonderful days staying at Chalet Barbara. The chalet is very clean and comfortable with everything you could need for your stay. "My husband, adult son and I stayed for several days and had a great time exploring the region. The home is lovely and comfortable, with great views, and great access to trails right out the front door. Our host was gracious and helpful with check in and check out. Our only glitch was having to pay an additional tourist fee at the end. Maybe we missed this info when we booked, but it was disappointing. Other than that, we recommend this vacation rental."
