"STAY HERE!! The staff were all polite and helpful. It was a luxury for us that they spoke such fluent English. The room was really a small apartment, with 2 bedrooms, a nice bathroom, full kitchen, and a small living room with nice big windows overlooking the street. Super clean, blackout curtains, extremely comfortable beds. Location is perfect."

"The apartment had everything you could need and was in a great location. The sound proofed windows were wonderful and allowed us the quiet we needed! So much space if you need it! The only critique I have is that the washer/dryer is not great, didn’t wash the clothes thoroughly and the dryer took 3 cycles to dry the small load I did. "

"My apartment was a converted loft area. If you are tall you hit your head on the ceiling. It is a well equipped apartment and clean. Good Metro connections lines 1/2 on the door step. Overall good value for money for short stays"

"The location is great, with lots of restaurants and markets nearby. Easy to walk to Plaza Mayor and many central Madrid sightseeing spots. The layout is a little quirky but worked fine. The unit is well provisioned and the owner very responsive. As other reviewers have mentioned, lots of steps (45) but hallway is well lit and someone thoughtfully has left a chair on a landing. We would stay here again."

"We had a great time staying at this apartment. The location was perfect. We were able to easily walk to the Palacio Real, the museums, the Parque del Buen Retiro and more. The Rastro market was one street behind the apartment. We did use the metro and were very close to La Latina and just a bit further from the Tirso de Molina station. "Very accessible location within 3 minutes of a metro station and a bus stop right across the street. Several little shops nearby and a little supermarket around the corner helped us save quite a bit in restaurant money. We did struggle finding parking in the area, though (we rented a car to travel to little towns nearby, which would have taken forever to get to using public transportation.) "Fast communication, good location and within walking distance to many areas of the town center of Madrid, great water pressure in shower, only thing that 2 of our group didn’t like was the very hard pillows. 1 person in our group slept well with the hard pillows. Thats the only complaint but some people might prefer that type of pillow. Nice neighborhood/area. I encourage anyone staying here to eat at El Raton De Getaria. The hummus, guacamole and pork are so good! Had a great time at this VRBO....

"The front desk staff were friendly and extremely helpful, accommodating our early arrival and scheduling a large taxi to transport five people and lots of luggage to the airport. Breakfast was great and included pastries, proteins, and fresh fruit. The location worked out well for us, as it was walkable to many tourist sites as well as nearby local restaurants. Rooms were simple but clean and the beds were reasonably comfortable. Would definitely stay there again!"

"Great property and location; however, when booking with Expedia single room, they rooms are located on the side of the building that needs to go stairs to get to the elevator and the rooms are very small. I had to switched rooms the next day to the right side of the building with elevator. Also, property is a little noisy, wood floors don’t help, I hear the room upstairs, but overall it was a great place and very well located. Staff was friendly and they were able to accommodate my request to change room. I will return. "
