"We stayed here as a family of 19 for 2 nights over New Year ranging from age 5-70. It was good as we all had our own individual cottages with kitchens, living rooms and bathroom which gave us our own space but the communal area is the Hall was being enough when we wanted to be together. Only issue was the gas heaters and log burners not working properly in a couple of cottages but electric heaters were available and there is central heating in two of the cottages. "A wonderful and spacious stone house with exceptional facilities especially in the kitchen. All the bedrooms has comfortable beddings and with enough room for 8 adults and 4 children. We definitely recommend this house to anyone who wants to visit Bala in North Wales for its facilities and location. "

"We had a lovely time in this beautiful house - there was plenty of living space for the whole group to spread out and we loved having a big group dinner in the grand dining room. The house is old and some niggles are to be expected (minor cobwebs, loose doorknobs, a couple of chipped mugs) and they definitely didn't take away from our love for the place (and shouldn't deter anyone else!)."

"Everything was beautiful and the cottage was more than efficient. The only things we had problems with were the directions for finding it locally and the washer/dryer all in one! As Californians, this was new to us and we had no idea it would take so long for a load of clothes! We are learning… Thanks to the owner who was unfortunately out of town so we did not get to meet."
