"Where to even begin? From the moment we arrived, we were completely mesmerized. The island is breathtaking and the hotel is more beautiful in real life. It felt like stepping into paradise. The crystal-clear waters, the soft sandy beaches, and the marine life made us feel like we were living in an aquarium. But what truly sets the hotel apart is not just its beauty—it’s the people. The warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality of the staff made our stay beyond special. A heartfelt thank you to Poula, our extraordinary host, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. His attention to detail and constant care made all the difference. We also want to send a big thank you to Lama and the amazing team at the Kids Club for creating unforgettable memories for our children. They loved every moment and the fun activities! Dining at Kula every day was another highlight of our trip. The variety, the quality, and most of all, the service exceeded expectations. A special thank you to Bhavin, Shokhawat, Humair, Ansari, Anupam, Anpum, Sager, and Nagendra (and all the others that I forgot to ask for their names, I'm so sorry but I guess you know who you are) for your warm smiles and outstanding service—you truly made every meal an experience to remember. "My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our stay at Raaya! The free transfers as well was a great perk. We were greeted at the airport in Male and were taken to where we were supposed to go for the seaplane transfer. The resort itself was gorgeous, everything about it was incredible, staff was super nice and helpful. We had Saif as our guide throughout our stay and he was great. "

"We did Joali for a 15yr anniversary trip. It is a long trip from North America but well worth it! This place is heaven. The website is actually really understated, it’s hard to describe how beautiful and luxurious things are once you arrive. You get a personal butler to meet all of your needs and arrange things. The rooms are huge and gorgeously appointed. All the staff are amazing and the food was absolutely phenomenal. I do gluten-free and they were able to customize anything. I wanted on the menu. The scuba diving is great and the equipment is all brand new and top-notch, including giving your own dive computer. There’s amazing water sports, including a private yacht to Charter, Sea-Doo and all kinds of manual water sports. We played Padel and tennis. Highly highly recommend."

"I was here previously, decided to come for a 20 day stay to recharge.. They really let the place go downhill in every way. I felt like I was doing a spotting job rather than having a vacation especially the first week.simple things like painting rusted things all over the island. Not clearing garbage that washes onto the beach, which I and other guests would put up high on the beach figuring they did a walk around daily. No, same garbage was not even noticed because the management doesn't care. I made my complaints and was told that some quality control expert was coming and they would have the island in shape by December. Lot of good that did me momentarily.it was things that were not even hard to do, simply there was no will. And it wasn't the staff, it's management..Actually had by chance the same room from years ago and saw the same issues not attended to. The food was also low quality, I avoided breakfast, out of 19 nights, maybe 5 breakfasts. Any juices put out we're heavy sugar and they spared every expense. Not a banana in sight the last 10 days of my stay.. I offered to gladly do a walk with the general manager and show him how to fix the place up in a matter of days with staff on hand. Didn't care.. then there is the smoking. Staff quarters are close and obviously no one is told to go to a further section of the small island to smoke. When you're out taking the air on a walk it's not pleasant to suck in a huge amount of smoke. Much more. Bye Dfaru. Disappointed "
