"The hotel is definitely aging, in needs of repairs and serious updating, but it has so much charm, amazing views and potential. The location alone is unbeatable being right across from Plaza Botero and the Museum of Antioquia, plus the metro lines 1 and 2 very close by. Yes the area is rough in general (there are heavy presence of police and military until after dark to help a bit,) but that's sadly the reality in most downtowns these days in even in the nicest cities in N.
