Hotel was centrally located. I didn't like the smell that comes from the sewers of the bathrooms, something needs to be done it is disgusting and cleaning staff needs to talk a little lower when they start cleaning in the morning and guest are sleeping.

We loved the hotel. But the check in experience was not great. The receptionist was very friendly. There were three of us traveling- we had reservations but it took about 45 minutes for check in. One thing that we had strong disagreement with was they took a photo copy of our credit cards- even though we strongly disagreed with this process- then they put them in a file cabinet? We did get the copy back upon checkout! But my credit card is never out of my control- usually! They also made a big deal about signing an acknowledging that us you took someone to your room who was not register they would charge you $99 US dollars everytime someone was in your room. I guess it’s a prostitution issue- but it seemed to me that instead of deterring it- they were interested in making money from it. These two issues were a negative not only in the hotel but the city of Medellin.

One of the premium hotels of Poblado very attentive staff in an area where restaurants and some shopping are very nearby. Area is generally safe I would recommend for Americans and anyone else. Tony Roma restaurant is impressive
