"The place was just like it was described, our group of 17 people fit right in here, activities for the evenings, plenty of space for everyone be it games or chilling in front of the TV. The kitchen, the blackstone, awesome, perfect for the group! We try to move around to different places, but this will be on the list to return. Awesome is all we can say!! "

"Newberry was our “hub” to visit so many sites in eastern UP. From waterfalls to lighthouses to beaches to historic sites. And even a lingering monarch butterfly that hadn’t migrated south yet. This property is everything it claims to be! A full kitchen; lots of beds; comfortable. No doubt a great place for everyone and their “toys”!"

"We had a wonderful vacation. The cottage was much nicer than the pictures and the ground staff was most helpful in addressing our questions. I did not expect to have to pay renters insurance at booking. A heads up would have been nice. "

"We had a set of 4 friends and went sxs riding. This location was great, plenty of room for everyone, 2 bathrooms were a plus, big kitchen with plenty of seating. Plenty of parking for all vehicles/trailers. We were gone from 9am to almost 8pm daily. we didn’t have time to enjoy the outdoor fire pit or other amenities on property. We hope to return for another visot in the near future. This was a typical UP north VRBO with old home charm for GREAT old town. Host was excellent. "

"This was a birthday weekend for my 70th birthday. I invited my two daughters their husbands and children along. Age ranges were 5 to 11+5 adults. The kids love the grass and the fire pit and the toys that were around. We brought a monopoly game and had an epic game that stretched several nights. The kitchen was very usable and easy to find things, well equipped. Beds were quite comfortable. Each of my daughter’s families took a bedroom, and I got the master. "The property has a beautiful and quiet location on Manistique Lake. Even though the weather was too cool to take advantage of the water, it was a serene and peaceful setting. The house was well supplied with linens and dishes, etc. although it would be helpful to provide washcloths and tub mats in the bathrooms. The property owners were very responsive in dealing with an unexpected heating issue that arose at the beginning of our stay. Check-in and check-out was very simple."
