"Newberry was our “hub” to visit so many sites in eastern UP. From waterfalls to lighthouses to beaches to historic sites. And even a lingering monarch butterfly that hadn’t migrated south yet. This property is everything it claims to be! A full kitchen; lots of beds; comfortable. No doubt a great place for everyone and their “toys”!"

"House was in a good location. View was beautiful. House was very clean and well stocked. We were disappointed that you could not fish from shore because it’s too shallow and we were informed that the pier would be taken down after we had already paid. You can’t launch the row boat from the shore either due to it being so shallow. So we weren’t able to use the boat either."

"This was a birthday weekend for my 70th birthday. I invited my two daughters their husbands and children along. Age ranges were 5 to 11+5 adults. "It was easy to find, I loved the process of 'checking in' it was all very easy and the host was amazing and replied in a decent amount of time if you had to contact him. It's such a cute place, I loved the bathroom lights, and the only thing I would add is a few general paintings or pictures around the house cuz the walls seem a little empty."

"The property has a beautiful and quiet location on Manistique Lake. Even though the weather was too cool to take advantage of the water, it was a serene and peaceful setting. The house was well supplied with linens and dishes, etc. although it would be helpful to provide washcloths and tub mats in the bathrooms. The property owners were very responsive in dealing with an unexpected heating issue that arose at the beginning of our stay. Check-in and check-out was very simple."
